I started Simulacra as a fun project to share and have fun with my electronics projects. I chose the name simulacra because I felt what I'm doing is not unique but a reproduction of what others are creating out there and it is something anyone else can do if they just put their mind to it. I started working with electronics when I broke a pair of headphones skateboarding back in 2001, I soldered them back together and kept using them for a few more years. I kept playing with electronics and as I advanced I built a guitar and wired it together, the guitar played terribly but the electronics worked perfectly. I built my first guitar pedal from a kit back in 2006 and I just fell in love with modding and building guitar pedals. I want to continue working on audio electronics and have you guys share my experience. Thank you for checking out simulacra and watching my videos.
